Parent Teacher Conferences

Our normal school day is 9:10 am to 3:45 pm, students will be dismissed at 12:30 pm. Teachers receive their 40 minute lunch from 12:30 - 1:15.  Parent Teacher Conferences are then held from 1:15 pm until 5:45 pm. There is no need to make an appointment. We hope to see you there! (Additionally, we know this is a strange time for conferences, later this quarter there will be evening conferences. We hope you are able to attend at least one)

Internship Portal Launch

Message From Ms. Thomason:

I am pleased to introduce to you our new Internship Portal as well as the Volunteer Opportunities page on our school website: From our homepage, you can access these when you click on "Student Center." I will continue to manage these pages and add opportunities as they come up-- I hope this will result in smoother internship application processes for everyone involved. Be sure to check the website often! Finally, as a kind reminder, please note that any student accepted into a program that conflicts with school time will need to submit the proper paperwork (attached) in order to be excused from school.

As always, feel free to reach out to me with any questions, concerns, or assistance with applications!

Thank a School Counselor This Week

Life can throw a person many ups and downs, but you likely have a particular person or a group of people who listen and provide insight to help you navigate rough patches and big decisions. When they invest so much in you, a thank you may be in order to express appreciation for their time and care. Chances are, someone from the MC2 STEM counseling department helped you weather the storm. Take time this week to celebrate National School Counselors Week with those who have helped you along the way!

Help Us Honor Top Teachers!

Head of the Class recognizes teachers in Northeast Ohio for making a difference in the lives of their students both inside and outside the classroom.
